The Arena
The European Championships will take place in the Ferry-Dusika-Stadion (Engerthstraße 267-269, 1020 Vienna).
The hall offers up to 7.000 seats and is located just a 2-minute-walk away from the subway station “U2-Stadion”.
It was built between 1972 and 1976 close to the huge leisure area Prater. A complete renovation took place during 1997 and 1999.
The Ferry-Dusika-Stadion is Austrias only indoor cycling track and consequently named after the famous cyclist Ferry Dusika.
During the European Judo Championships the cycling track will be overbuilt with special mobile stands to bring the fans even closer to the action!
